We have some really exciting collaborations to announce in this issue (and upcoming issues), including collaborations with mental health organisations and with industry experts (will come back to that shortly).

The biggest industry news this week saw publication of an independent report which unfortunately, confirmed our own longstanding concerns on the quality of CBD products sold in the UK.

The report, commissioned by Dr Andrew Yates, Blair Gibbs and John Leibling, presented some quite startling conclusions following blind testing of 30 CBD oils, sold in the UK today. Examples included CBD products being sold in Highstreet Pharmacies (for £90) which actually contained 0% CBD and; that only 38% of the products tested contained within 10% of the CBD content advertised! Perhaps worse of all (especially for those who undertake vocational drug testing), almost 45% of oils tested, contained more than the legally allowed levels of THC, meaning these are illegal to sell in the UK.
